Saturday Night Swing continues every Saturday Night with a great line up of swinging bands!

Beginner classes are suitable for the absolute beginner. There is no need to bring your own dance partners (because partner rotate), and no prior experience is needed.

Sly Blue Weekend January 20 and 21!!! Friday Night Blues featuring Sly Blue! Saturday Night Swing featuring Sly Blue! Sly Blue is an awesome New York City band that was a big hit with both Lindy Hoppers and Blues dancers on their first visit to Toronto in September!

The Dance Ambassadors are a team of volunteers who welcome beginners to Saturday Night Swing (the main swing dance in Toronto) and invite them to dance, especially in the early part of the evenings - Ambassadors attend the second lesson and also act as Ambassadors for the first band set after the lessons. The Dance Ambassadors program is a Toronto Lindy Hop program founded by Krister when he was President of Toronto Lindy Hop, and is run by volunteer co-ordinators (currently Peter). There are four teams of Ambassadors, one team is on duty in their red T shirts each Saturday night. They are named in honour of the late great Frankie Manning who was known as the Ambassador or Lindy Hop.

Saturday Night Swing happens every Saturday Night at Dovercourt House featuring some of the best swing bands in Canada and excellent beginner dance classes! It has been going strong for years, is the largest and most popular swing dance in Toronto, and is a central part of Toronto's Lindy Hop and swing dance community.

3rd Friday Blues at Dovercourt House! Friday Night Blues happens the 3rd Friday of each month at Dovercourt House! It features excellent blues bands and blues dance beginner lessons!

Rock'n Roll Fridays happen the first Friday of each month.

Mostly Waltz Fridays happen one Friday night a month and features excellent beginner lessons and live bands! There are also Saturday Waltz Workshops and Tuesday Night Waltz Classes! For Waltz events see mostlywaltz.ca

Saturday Night Swing, Mostly Waltz events, and the Friday Live Band Blues & Swing Dances are held on big sprung wood dance floors in charming high ceilinged halls on the Bloor subway line. There is no need to bring your own dance partners as partners rotate (change) in the classes and as the custom at dances is to change partners for each song. Most of those who come are in their 20s, 30s and 40s, some older, some under 20.

Lindy Hop is the most popular swing dance in the world today and also the most popular swing dance of the Swing Era. It is Swing Toronto's favourite swing dance.

3rd Friday Blues: Blues Dancing is currently at the beginning of a resurgence in Toronto! Blues dancing is a group of dance styles typically done to blues music, and with roots and history going back to the 1930s, the 1920s, and earlier. People who Lindy Hop often also do Blues dancing and vice versa. Friday Night Live Band Blues is on the third Friday of every month at Dovercourt House.

*Full-time student price/discount: $3 off the regular price for Saturday nights. Must show a valid current student card. There are also similar student discounts for the Blues Fridays and the Mostly Waltz Fridays.
